FREE Education

True Education is that which unfolds the latent sublime DIVINE ENERGY already in man. Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Sadan marks the dawn of a new era. The golden rays of this dawn assure a bright future for our students and for our nation which was dreamt by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Main Features of the School:

Educare in practice

As the part of our EDUCARE implementation, our students regularly follow various EDUCARE techniques that increase the student’s concentration, will power, mental ability, peace of mind, etc.

Begin the day with Silent Sitting:

Silent sitting mentally and physically prepares the individual for learning. When we sit silently for a few minutes it heightens our sense of awareness and it allows the individual to tap into his or her inner resources. This increases their ability to learn, to create, and to sustain a sense of equanimity and well-being.

Guided visualization:

Our students are made to experience guided visualization regularly for getting them relaxed and refuelled. It has a variety of physical health benefits to guided visualization. These include a lowering of blood pressure as well as the level of stress hormones in the blood. After quieting body and mind, our students feel full of energy and exceedingly relaxed and refreshed.

Jyoti meditation:

Through Jyoti Meditation, ONE flame on which students concentrate can cleanse their mind and body and spread its light and radiance to include their entire environment

Value games:

Our students find interest in playing value games, which enhance their basic moral and human values and make them understand that human life should always be value centred than any other worldly benefits.

EHV Program:

EHV program at our school is aimed to elicit the innate goodness in the child. It helps raise and develop children’s awareness of the five universal human values of Truth, Right-Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-Violence. EHV lessons are delivered in an interesting and stimulating manner and helps children explore the concepts of, and discrimination between, right and wrong. This program draws on examples from the world’s great civilizations as well as from the lives of famous people throughout history. All our staff underwent EHV program at Vizag during April 2013.

BalVikas:

Our students are regularly taught with Bal Vikas classes under the able guidance of learned and highly experienced Bal Vikas Gurus. Students are mainly taught to pay respect for parents and other elders at home, pay due attention to school studies and proper respect to school teachers, show good physical orderliness in respect of dress, behaviour at school and society etc., develop self-confidence, develop good manners, humanity etc., develop good moral character, make good use of time, have spirit of service for those who need help, have love for God (The supreme power) who expects us to be truthful, honest, good, loving, kind & helpful, and learn traits of holistic living.

Devotional Singing:

Devotional singing (Bhajans) is the process of singing that originates in the heart, not from the lips or the tongue. It is the expression of the joyous thrill that wells up from the heart when the Glory of God is remembered. It is the spontaneous manifestation of inner ecstasy. Our students put that in practice through Bhajans, divine songs anthyaksharis, etc.
